Gorndorf, Texas
In the decaying town of Gorndorf, Eastern Germany, two Wild West enthusiasts chase their version of the American Dream in a landscape far removed from the prairies. Transforming their everyday lives into a frontier adventure, they draw on nostalgia for a world they’ve never known.
Gorndorf, Texas explores how fantasy and escapism shape the lives of those living in the remnants of the former GDR, where the dream of the American West lingers as a symbol of freedom and possibility. In this small corner of the world, the Wild West lives on — even if only in the minds of its dreamers.▷ Trailer
